Hi there, my name is Mónica.
I was born and raised in Peru and moved to the United States at age 24 to continue my education. I hold an advertising degree from IPP (Instituto Peruano de Publicidad) and a business administration degree from the University of San Francisco.
I have several years of experience working with the Hispanic market in the United States as an advertiser, market researcher and translator. In addition, I write children's books and I recently published my first picture book Penelope's Big Dream.
My goal as an author is to connect with young readers by writing about everyday concepts they can easily relate to.
The illustrations are simple and designed to bring the story to life. Through my books, I strive to share a positive message and ignite their imaginations.
